Okay so this story is kinda new but I had acnh on release date and still couldn't catch a coelancath well recently I gave my brother my nintendo switch and guess what not even 20 minutes later HE CATCHES ONE it took him like 10 mins to catch one that is just sad cant lie 😭😭😭😭😭😭

On my first acnh island, I had flowers growing everywhere and ended up with 8 blue roses without knowing how rare they were. I soon deleted that island before I knew it too🤦🏾‍♀️

A trick to doing restart challenges like these is to not restart when the run is dead. Complete it anyway, noting all the failure states. That way you can learn all the pitfalls without as much repetition of the early parts

I remember a time during my island development when I had to flatten my island so that I wouldn't get lost and could find things much easier. It was a difficult decision, and I also had to get rid of the rivers, trees, and all that. To my surprise, my island's rating dropped to 2 stars, and that's when I realized that the presence of hills or lack thereof affects the rating. At that time, I had 10 villagers, the museum and Nook's upgraded, and I had Able Sisters' shop built. The campsite was also constructed. I could talk more about it, but if this resonates with you, I'd be happy to share more details.

I remember - at least, i'm fairly certain I did this many times - that in wild world, if you sent furniture to a villager that was packed up to move, they'd be back to normal the next day because they had to place the furniture they received? a regular letter/one without furniture wouldnt work, it had to be something they would place in their house. I'm starting to wonder if I'm remembering wrong, but I'm almost positive this was a trick I did to keep my faves from going when I couldnt convince them to stay myself. i wonder if the unsent at 1:00 was talking about that 🤔 I also never knew until VERY recently that you didn't have to mash or hold A for the fish. blew my mind lol. and I'd heard, also in wild world days, that simply mailing fruit of your home town to a villager would increase your chances of getting the out of town fruit, but no mention of having to say anything specific. I probably did still use the word "Fruit" in my letters though, and i think I had a mixed success rate lol

Well, with the ordinary size does only the reachable parts of the island counts in the rating, so I think five stars actually is plausible also on this island :)

some other rare dialogue stuff, maybe - you talk to flick/CJ for the first time and its a bug off (flick) or fishing tourney (CJ) - when your get 3 stars the day before a Bug Off or Fishing Tourney - when the (first time) you go to Harv's island in June (Wedding Season) you get extra dialogue when you enter the Photo Studio (or whatever its called.) (ALSO, theres some extra dialogue for if you start the wedding season on June 30th) - you try to sell either: fake art, lost items or golden DIYS - you try to sell something in the drop off box when you have 999,999,999 bells in your bank - when you are attempting label's fashion challenge(???) but you have (either) no pants or shirt on
